Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at St. George Cancer Center in Saint George, Utah. As an RN, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Here are some specifics about the position:
  • Full Time Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (with potential early starts at 6:00 a.m. for HDR procedures)
  • No weekends, holidays, evenings, or on-call shifts
  • Work in the Radiation Oncology unit at St. George Regional Cancer Center
Qualifications:
  • Current RN License in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Unit-specific certifications as required
  • Effective communication skills

Responsibilities:
As an RN, you will:
  • Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status
  • Collaborate to develop individualized care plans
  • Implement care and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team
  • Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Experience in Oncology and I.V. treatments

Professionalism is key:
  • Promote nursing standards
  • Integrate legal and ethical practices into care

Physical Requirements:
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity for patient care
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and ambulate patients
  • Standing for extended periods may be required
