The Financial Services Technology Bureau (SABHRS Financials & IBARS) is looking for an analyst with experience in accounting, budgeting, business analysis, or systems analysis, and who is also customer-focused and enthusiastic about working in a constantly evolving technology landscape.
We are team-oriented professionals that collaborate with our stakeholders to evaluate current business processes and IT systems to provide technology solutions and enhancements in a PeopleSoft/SABHRS Financials and IBARS environment.
The Financials Systems Analyst is responsible for:
·Overseeing the installation, configuration, and testing for new, existing, or modified PeopleSoft modules.
·Focusing on meeting the business needs of our stakeholders.
·Testing components to determine system performance.
·Trouble-shooting system issues.
·Providing solutions to the State’s business process issues.
·Conducting research about existing and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and efficiencies.
·Technical support and project management.

What are we looking for?

·Knowledge of financial, budget and accounting business processes and practices.
·Knowledge of principles, practices and procedures associated with the design, development, and support of computer financial applications.
·Knowledge of MS Office software products and ability to learn new tools quickly.

Education and Experience:
·A Bachelor’s degree in a business, computer science or related field and two years applicable experience. OR
·An Associate’s degree in business, computer science or related field and four years applicable experience.AND
·Familiarity with SABHRS Financials or IBARS would be a plus, or prior in-depth experience in an Enterprise Resource Planning or Accounting/Budgeting system. OR
·Alternate combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
