Responsibilities:

  • Ensures integrity of financial records by maintaining internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
  • Leads monthend close process.
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly quarterly and annual financial statements providing insights into the companys performance and trends.
  • Oversees timely and accurate processing of invoices payments and collections.
  • Leads budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensures alignment of departments and strategic goals.
  • Cash management with daily cash balance monitoring.
  • Monitors company project costs and profitability.
  • Oversees inventory processes including valuation reconciliation and physical inventory counts.
  • Proactively initiates various projects to increase the efficiency and profitability of the business.
  • Calculates and pays sales taxes for multiple states.
  • Leads and supports external audits and reviews.
  • Prepares ROI to support various business cases and capital investments.
  • Manages institutional investment funds.
  • Processes government request for data (US Census EEOC).
  • Identifies opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Oversees payroll processing.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in accounting required.
  • CPA required.
  • Thorough knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles operational accounting and financial reporting.
  • High degree of comfort and familiarity with general ledger financial reporting and other accounting systems.
  • 8 years of relevant experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Paylocity experience desired.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and/or relational databases.
  • Working knowledge of federal state and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
  • Experience with 401k and profitsharing processing desired.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
