Responsibilities

include: Working with PM, PI and other staffs to prepare electrolyte formulations for vanadium flow batteries, synthesize electrolytes for aqueous organic flow batteries, evaluate various electrolyte performance, investigate materials compatibility for various redox flow chemistries, design/assemble/test single cells, and design/assemble/test stacks with large area electrodes. Working with PM, PI and other staffs to design/determine test protocols for specific flow battery technologies. Working independently or in a team to program battery cycling equipment and interface battery management systems with battery cyclers. Working independently or in a team to assemble battery cycler data into reports on battery performance and degradation. Working safely in the labs
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

BS/BA and 2 years of relevant experience -OR- MS/MA -OR- PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

Engineering or Science degree with 3 or more years of experience. Experience in battery testing and redox flow batteries. Experience in programming battery cycler equipment specifically Arbin. Experience in interfacing battery management systems with battery cycler. Experience with data analysis software (Excel, PowerBi, Tableau). Experience developing data acquisition systems
