What You Will Do
Manage contract administration billing, nominating, balancing, measurement, accounting, and system administration for all gas transportation customers.
Direct, supervise, and perform gas transportation billing, balancing, and accounting to ensure compliance with company policies, government regulations, and contract requirements.
Monitor changes in contracts, company procedures, customer credit status and operating profiles, and governmental regulations; determine effect of changes and recommends modifications or alternative solutions to policies, procedures, or system requirements.
Interact and advise company employees, customers, marketers, vendors, and interstate pipeline representatives to coordinate billing activities and resolve billing inquiries.
Researches, analyzes, prepares, and monitors information including but not limited to:
  • Billing statements
  • Balancing reports
  • Month-end closing reports
  • Measurement discrepancies
  • Transportation contracts
  • Rate tables, service riders and tariffs
Coordinate, implement and monitor any changes or defects with the various billing and measurement systems; included Banner, BillGen, Quorum, FlowNet, and others.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

What You Will NeedPreferred Bachelor's Degree business administration, accounting, engineering or related discipline the following job related experience:
Demonstrated ability of gas industry terminology and operations including transmission, distribution, gathering, and compression. Demonstrated ability in functional areas including transportation services, measurement, gas supply, rates, and IT.
Demonstrated ability of gas contract administration, industry standards, and applicable governmental regulations.
Experience with application of basic math and algebraic formulas used in spreadsheet applications.
Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
Experience and/or training related to:
  • Billing and balancing procedures
  • Gas nomination and allocation processes
  • Customer service/customer relations
  • Billing systems administration
Experience reading and interpreting measurement manuals, revenue and accounting reports, software manuals, governmental regulations, rate tables and company tariffs, transportation contracts, and company policies and procedures.
Experience researching and preparing correspondence, policies, procedures, reports, budgets, and graphs.
Experience interacting, advising, and communicating effectively.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.
Minimum Applicable driver's license.
Mobility to travel in and around office surroundings and to other business locations.
Able to operate office tools and equipment applicable to position.
Communicate and/or exchange information or instructions.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
