Position: Finance RTR Lead SAP S/4HANA Greenfield Implementation
Job Overview:
The Finance RTR Lead will be responsible for overseeing the endtoend Record to Report (RTR) process within the finance function driving the design development and deployment of the SAP S/4HANA solution. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless implementation of the RTR processes in a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA environment aligning with the business objectives and financial reporting requirements. The RTR Lead will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including IT project management and external vendors to deliver a highquality solution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead RTR Process Design: Lead the endtoend design and implementation of the Record to Report processes within the SAP S/4HANA environment ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.
Solution Development: Work with SAP functional and technical teams to develop and configure the finance modules (GL AP AR Fixed Assets Bank Accounting etc.) that support RTR activities in S/4HANA.
Project Management: Act as the finance workstream lead in the SAP S/4HANA implementation project ensuring that the project deliverables are completed on time within scope and within budget.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements define business processes and validate solutions in alignment with corporate financial goals.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee unit integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all RTR processes ensuring accurate data migration system configurations and functionality.
Change Management: Work with the change management team to ensure successful adoption of the new SAP S/4HANA system across the finance organization including user training documentation and postgolive support.
Compliance and Controls: Ensure that all financial processes adhere to relevant internal controls compliance standards (e.g. SOX IFRS GAAP) and audit requirements.
Data Migration: Lead the migration of financial data from legacy systems into SAP S/4HANA ensuring accuracy completeness and data integrity.
Continuous Improvement: Postimplementation drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize and refine the RTR processes in S/4HANA.
Required Skills and Experience:
SAP Experience: 12 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with at least 3 years of handson experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. Deep understanding of S/4 HANA Innovation Simplification areas and Fiori apps in the Finance Domain.
Project Leadership: Proven experience leading the RTR workstream in a fullcycle SAP implementation preferably Greenfield projects.
RTR Expertise: Deep understanding of finance processes particularly in General Ledger Intercompany Accounting Fixed Assets Financial Reporting Periodend Closing and Consolidation.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA functionalities Fiori apps Central Finance and SAP Activate methodology.
ProblemSolving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to financial reporting and system configuration.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders including finance leadership and project sponsors.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work crossfunctionally with IT business process owners and thirdparty vendors to deliver project objectives.
Education: Bachelor s degree in finance Accounting Information Systems or a related field. A CPA CMA or SAP certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementations including data migration solution design and deployment.
Experience with multinational finance and accounting practices including tax and statutory reporting requirements.
Knowledge of Product Costing and Account based COPA are highly desirable.
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) and other digital finance tools.
