Duties

Leads, manages, and coordinates a wide variety of complex projects and plans covering an assortment of difficult, controversial, new, and/or obscure lands and realty management issues and problems. Provide leadership, advice, assistance, training, and instruction in legal interpretation of precedent setting decisions and confusing and/or conflicting public land and mineral laws. Serve as a source of expertise to other realty specialists resolving and/or evaluating issues that impact projects, planning systems, casework, compliance, and environmental analysis, which relate to lands and realty programs. Represents the agency or assists at meetings with businesses, professionals, governmental and educational user or interest groups to provide technical or other information.
