Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with organizational strategy, commitments, and goals. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party resources in order to deliver projects according to plan. Also responsible to define the projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Key attributes leading to the determination of upward progression in this career family include: project complexity, risk, team size, business volume, contract type, and political/client/business sensitivities.
Collect, organize, monitor, and distribute information related to quality and assurance management including process improvement functions. Analyze DOE and externally regulatory requirements, documentation of and compliance to standards in PNNL-developed processes. Perform assessments and other quality control or assurance task related activities to develop, administer, and apply improvement to the applicable program or plan. Assess the conformance to standards and business rules approved by management, the analysis and reporting of assurance results, and support to the OCC staff. Support the Chief Commercialization Officer in ensuring quality service and accountability of services within the OCC often having to problem solve and collaborate within a matrixed organizational structure. Coordinates workflow intake, disposition and continuous improvement across multiple programmatic areas. Is responsible for ensuring the OCC’s goals and service level commitments are communicated and understood at all levels, which includes taking all necessary steps for realizing a service-oriented, high performance culture; Plays an analytical role to monitor, analyze, and identify strategic needs, gaps, and risks; and Fully engage in the Electronic Prep and Risk (EPR) and Project Management Plan (PMP) preparation and submittal processes to ensure work is adequately planned, milestones are defined, and risks are mitigated. Continuously monitor progress against project planning. Assure that projects are executed in a safe, secure, environmentally conscious, and operationally compliant manner. Review and approve significant changes to project scope commensurate with adjustments in risk, budget and schedule. Ensure attention and resources are focused on delivering maximum value to the Technology Transfer mission and Lab strategy. Assure PMs fully understand and meet or exceed sponsor expectations for content, quality and delivery. Tailor management system processes to support reliable delivery of high-quality results. Performs other related duties as required.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA and 9+ years of relevant project management experience -OR- MS/MA or higher and 7+ years of relevant project management experiencePreferred Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
