This person is part of a team that offers grants and resources to nonprofits that help people attain and maintain homeownership. The Homeownership Program Analyst will play an essential role supporting our contract administration efforts. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
  • Working Condition: Remote > This position can be fully remote with some requirements for in-person work. You must be living in the United States to qualify for remote work.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The person in this position will provide programmatic and operational support to the Homeownership Assistance Program (HOAP), Foreclosure Avoidance Counseling (FAC) and other programs within the Homeownership Section. The position assists the section staff to assure funds administered by the State of Oregon are used in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This position supports the HOAP program team, and other programs with reviewing and verifying all grant reimbursements meet programmatic requirements, entering and analyzing data, assist with compliance monitoring. This position will also assist consumers and partners with resources for down payment assistance, homebuyer education, financial literacy, how to locate mortgage lenders and provide additional referrals and resources needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills.

Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.

HOMEOWNERSHIP DIVISION

The Homeownership Division consists of four sections, each driven by the central goal of engaging low to moderate income Oregonians who wish to attain or retain homeownership.

Our offerings bring stability to families by supporting homebuyer and homeowner financial education and foreclosure counseling, programs that provide mortgage assistance or health and safety repairs as well as developing an array of affordable housing opportunities for Oregonians by facilitating the financing and development of homes for homeownership.
