Our client is a rapidly growing company dedicated to renewable energy. They are specialized in working with Offshore windfarms. With their business growing they look for someone who can grow with them and assist in forming a new department.

Function description

Do you have extensive experience in High Voltage testing? And are you ready for a next step in your career? In the role as High Voltage Test Engineering Manager you will be the expert for all standards and recommendations for the High Voltage testing of the company. Your responsibilities include:
  • Oversee all the High Voltage testing
  • Providing technical input during the tender phase and consult with clients.
  • Manage the final execution of projects.
  • Playing a key role in the decision-making process for purchasing new equipment.

You need to have hands-on experience with the following High Voltage Testing techniques:
  • DC test systems
  • Very-low frequency testing (VLF)
  • Damped AC testing
  • Insulation Resistance testing

Furthermore, experience in High Voltage Diagnostic test techniques Tan δ and Partial Discharge Measurement is required.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background
  • 4-7 years of experience in High Voltage testing
  • Willingness to travel and assist testing teams offshore.
  • Possibilities to hybrid work: either from the office in north-holland or working from home.
  • Proven ability of working with different stakeholders
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical skills, complex problem solving
