Pay Range: $20.00/hr on W2
Education Level: High School Level
Role Overview:
As a Care Management Support Coordinator II, you will be instrumental in supporting the medical and psychological aspects of utilization and coordinated care for our Medicare members. Your role involves frequent member outreach, meticulous record-keeping, and maintaining high standards of compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Member Outreach: Conduct daily outreach calls to Medicare members assigned to you. This involves both initial contact and follow-up calls as needed.
- Record Keeping: Regularly update an Excel spreadsheet with details of member assignments and interactions. Ensure all documentation is completed accurately in Virtual Health after each phone call.
- Communication: Maintain consistent communication with your supervisor to provide updates and seek guidance as needed.
- Compliance and Performance: Adhere to compliance standards, aiming for 100% compliance with assigned members. Strive to achieve an engagement rate of 80% or more monthly. Meet performance metrics including making 80-120 calls per day and completing outreach to 600 members per month (30 new members daily).
- Training: Complete all required training during the first week, including IT setup and job-specific training.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Managed Care Experience: 2-3 years in a managed care setting, medical office, or facility with demonstrated medical administration duties.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities are essential.
- Customer Service Knowledge: Understanding of customer service, utilization review, or claims processing practices in a managed care environment.
- Medical Terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in operating office equipment, including personal computers.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills are crucial.
- Customer Service: Experience providing customer service in a healthcare context.
- Utilization Review or Claims Processing: Knowledge of utilization review or claims processing practices.
- Medical Terminology: Advanced understanding of medical terminology.
Education Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
