FLSA Status: Exempt

Basic Functions: The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for providing systems design implementation and support for the client Cyber Security infrastructure. This infrastructure includes storage voice and data networks telecommunications hardware applications data center components and information security systems.

The Cybersecurity Specialist ensures the secure operations of the above listed systems and provides support for 24x7 operations. Additionally this person will analyze server and firewall logs scrutinize network traffic and resolve vulnerability issues as well as troubleshooting and conducting user/security audits when required. This person will assist technical staff in the design development and implementation of new IT systems track the progress of projects and provide feedback to Senior Management.

This person must have a basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN) Firewalls SAN/NAS storage virtualization Active Directory Microsoft 365 core network services (DHCP/DNS) Linux Intrusion Prevention network access control Microsoft Security Solutions and General Security Best Practices (see additional details under Knowledge Skills & Qualifications > 3a).

Essential Functions:

1. Assist with responsibility for securing the AMP virtualized/server infrastructure environment both onpremises and in cloud.

2. Coordinate and facilitate cyber security of server platforms and data storage support/project activities with internal/external resources. Responsible for daytoday security operations of the data storage backup and recovery and archiving server/OS infrastructure.

3. Troubleshoots network security and connectivity problems; assists in developing network security solutions to provide user connectivity; creates and maintains detailed network security documentation.

4. Collaborates with ERP resources and internal ERP support teams to provide cyber security support respond to issues and meet project objectives related to the Linux and/or Windows server/OS and network environment.

5. Collaborate with SCADA and Generation Operations resources and internal SCADA and Generation Operations support teams to provide cyber security support respond to issues and meet project objectives related to the Linux and/or Windows server/OS and network environment.

6. Participate in assigned projects according to the IT project management methodology procedures and processes.

7. Provide 1st 2nd and 3rd level cyber security support of the Virtualized Infrastructure Backup SAN SCADA and Corporate Networks (LAN/WAN) environments.

8. Ensures performance and availability meet or exceed established service level standards.

9. Recommends implements and supports the corporate servers data storage backup/recovery and archiving architecture and standards.

10. Identifies process improvements and develops business cases for new cyber security technology infrastructure investments.

11. Actively participates in cyber security technical and business innovation efforts.

12. Provides systems development advice to various teams and management personnel within the IT organization.

13. Weekend and offpeak hours implementations are part of the work duties as well as being part of a rotating 24x7 oncall support team.

14. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Breakdown:

Knowledge Skills & Qualifications:

1. A fouryear computer science information systems or engineering degree is desired; or four (4) years of directly related experience is desired.

2. A minimum of one (1) year of handson experience in network and system implementation and support of a highavailable 24/7/365 operating environment is desired.

3. Areas of expertise must include but are not limited to:

7. Use various network/client/server and cyber security monitoring tools for systems control and problem resolution.

8. Willingness to perform tasks required to ensure published service level agreements are met.

9. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and projects in a highpressure environment.

10. Work requires a flexible schedule 24x7 with duties.
