Cybersecurity Team Lead

NexThreat is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Team Lead to provide overall supervision for vendor employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and be able to manage projects professionally, ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided.
The Cybersecurity Team Lead will work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion. They will develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems and coordinate with the Vendor PM, PMO, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.

Responsibilities:
- Manage projects professionally, ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided
- Develop required specifications for simple to moderately complex problems
- Coordinate with the Vendor PM, PMO, and government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters
- Work under general supervision, developing the requirements of a product from inception to conclusion
Requirements:
- Five (5) years of relevant DoD experience
- Working knowledge of host-based Firewalls
- Working knowledge and understanding of industry standard network environments to include firewall and security hardware/software
- Working knowledge of Cybersecurity Best Practices
- In-depth knowledge of LAN and WAN operations and moderate knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of industry standard Incident Ticket Tracking systems for inputting incident tickets and creating work orders
- Comprehensive knowledge of DOD and DLA security regulations, guidelines and policies, to include, but not limited to, IA standards
- Working knowledge of the installation, configuration and day-to-day sustainment of host-based firewalls, to include but not limited to the management server and other product related items
Security/Certification Requirements:
- Sensitivity Level: IT-I Critical Sensitive
- Clearance: Secret
- Zero Trust Experience
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II or IAT III
- Computing Environment: CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Illumio Core Specialist or Expert
- DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: Server Admin M (Cloud or Microsoft / Linux Operating per DLA Approved CE)
