Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the North American Stormwater Market Sector Lead will be to support and grow our North American and regional Stormwater practice and provide internal technical leadership and guidance as it relates to our stormwater services. In this role, the selected candidate will work with our North American Water Resources team and be responsible for the overall vision and growth strategy for our North American and southern California stormwater market. The selected candidate will also function as a supervisor to staff, manage stormwater programs, and help support production on stormwater projects and programs that may include or require:
  • Comprehensive stormwater management planning, design, and construction
  • Understanding of national and regional stormwater regulations
  • Relationships with national and regional stormwater clients and professionals
  • Design of stormwater management facilities
  • Design of site drainage
  • Design of storm sewers
  • Design of Green Infrastructure (GI)
  • Design of Best Management Practices (BMPs)
  • Low-Impact Development (LID) planning and design
  • Watershed planning and
  • Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling.
In this role, the selected candidate will work closely with our project engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects to develop integrated stormwater solutions and business development opportunities.

The North American Stormwater Market Sector Lead reports to the Global Water Resources Market Sector Lead and works closely with the Regional Water Market Sector Leads.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Hydraulics, Hydrology, Water Resources, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 12+ ears of related work experience required, with at least ten years of which shall include preparation of storm water reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates in a lead design role.
  • Experience with business development.
  • Experience with client relations and management.
  • Experience with supervising staff.
  • Experience in conceptual design, preliminary design, final design, and construction of drainage and stormwater infrastructure.
  • Experience with Low Impact Development and Green Infrastructure
  • Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and drainage design software.
  • Ability to function as an active team player and leader in a diverse multidisciplinary environment
