Job Description

This position is responsible for controlling Inventory flow through the shops and Sortly (Inventory Management system) for reconditioning services offered to all internal and external auction customers. Accurately recording parts movement through Sortly is paramount and a daily requirement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate movement by file updates in Sortly for body and mechanic (including PSI) services.
  • Work with Procurement/Purchasing staff to assure accurate pricing of parts and supplies billed on work orders.
  • Monitor repair status, completion timelines, transportation and customer communications related to approved reconditioning estimates, as directed by management.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience;
  • OR 5 years' experience in a related field Solid computer skills required.
  • "Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required."
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bodywork, frame damage and minor mechanical repairs.
  • Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Customer focused with strong attention to detail.

    Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
  • Effective communication skills and organizational skills required. Strong attention to detail and follow-through required.


Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience related to automotive parts preferred.
  • Experience in installing/ordering automotive parts preferred.


MSCOX

USD 15.87 - 23.75 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $15.87 - $23.75/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.

Benefits:

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
