Marketing Intern - Charlotte, NC

We're seeking a highly motivated Summer Marketing Intern to join our Charlotte, NC team for a fun and energetic summer. In this role, you'll wear many hats, supporting various marketing initiatives including sales documents, digital assets, and departmental collaboration. You'll gain valuable experience in a supportive environment, working alongside Technology stakeholders with support from division Marketing team.

Benefits: Securitas will offer a starting salary of $18-$20 per hour, depending on experience. Along with:

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, including sales documents and presentations.
  • Contribute to the development and organization of SharePoint marketing resource site.
  • Support the creation and editing of video content and case studies.
  • Help brainstorm and develop content ideas for marketing campaigns (e.g., blog posts, email marketing)
  • Assist with creating engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., write posts, curate images)
  • Support with planning and executing marketing campaigns (e.g., email blasts, event promotion)
  • Act as a liaison between the Marketing and other departments to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain marketing templates to streamline content creation.
  • Assist with various marketing projects and needs as they arise.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of documented marketing experience (internship or entry-level role).
  • Ability to provide examples of past marketing projects you've contributed to.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation or CRM platforms a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
