Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Design and deploy container security solutions centered around platforms such as Kubernetes to ensure container security across the different cloud environments supported by CTC.

Troubleshoot priority incidents. Conduct post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of the incidents. Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability. Design, develop, test and deliver the software to automate manual operational work using languages such as Python. Design and conduct the performance tests, identify the bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization and the capacity demand. Manage the effort split between manual operational work and engineering work. Be part of the \"follow the sun\" support coverage as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Security Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Devops Engineer, Network Engineer, or related occupation.


Skills Required:

Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Windows; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines including Cloud Computing and Microservices; Infrastructure Architecture Disciplines including Hybrid and Multicloud management; Apache Kafka; Docker; Jenkins; Python; Shell Scripting; JSON; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; GIT; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Security; and DevOps.

Job Location: 8181 Communications Pkwy, Plano, TX Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
