The Position:

bakerly is seeking a motivated, talented and ambitious Social Media Supervisor to manage the company's social media presence, grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into customers.

As a Social Media Supervisor, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.

You'll report to the Performance Marketing Manager and have 1 direct report: the Content Marketing Coordinator.

Responsibilities of the Social Media Supervisor:

  • Develop and implement social media strategy across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn etc.) to increase brand awareness, sales and drive engagement
  • Develop social media content calendar, scheduling and publishing content (including daily engaging Instagram Stories)
  • Use social media listening strategies and tools to gather data and extract actionable insights for strategy optimization
  • Continuously find new and exciting ways to engage social audiences
  • Utilize your creative skills to develop eye-catching graphics and engaging content for organic and paid advertising campaigns across different platforms
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics
  • Use insights to optimize content strategy and achieve growth targets
  • Act as an in-house expert on social media trends, staying informed about platform updates and contributing to the overall digital marketing strategy
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Requirements:

· Problem solving skills - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

· Excellent project management and organizational skills

· Experience managing social media accounts with a proven track record of growing audience size

· Experience developing social media strategies

· Analytical thinker with the ability to leverage social metrics to continuously improve the social media strategy

· Strong writing and verbal communication skills

· Strong knowledge of the digital marketing industry, trends and new developments

· Exceptional attention to detail with keen ability to meet important deadlines, highly organized

· Good instincts in solving problems

· Self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

· Continual learner: always improving and finding better ways to use the latest tech and tools

· Highly proficient in written English
