Training Program Specialist, MOS

Designs, develops, implements and evaluates program-wide learning solutions in support of Magellan's business objectives. Assists in developing learning paths and curriculum content that reflects sound instructional design based on adult learning principles and best practices. Facilitate training via live and recorded webinars and blended learning, using a mix of engaging instructional methods. Display demonstrated expertise in instructional design systems and software, learning technologies and adult learning best practices. Acts as technical expert and liaison with internal and external stakeholders to include MOS PMO, IT.- Possesses and provides expertise in instructional design processes (ADDIE or other industry accepted models) to design, develop and implement effective instructional materials, learning resources and content.
- Creates design standards and templates and integrates technology-based tools into the development process.
- Assists with the coordination and compliance tracking of MOS training records. Corresponds directly with counselors regarding training requirements.
- Facilitates training courses across the MOS including, new-hire orientation, field and PMO- specific training, standard operating processes and procedures, technology training, and professional development training.
- Understands Learning Management Systems (LMS) format and function to efficiently navigate the systems and provide general technical support.
- Uses exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to process and respond to training-related inquiries from PMO and field staff.
- Demonstrates exceptional collaboration and coordination skills that support and enhance a team working environment. Actively communicates with the Training leadership and training team on program operations and processes.

Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree required.May consider applicants with a high school diploma plus 4 years' experience in lieu of bachelor's degree.
2+ years of instructional design experience with proven ability to design and build innovative, creative content, including online programs, job aids, web sites and instructor materials.
1+ years' experience in training.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design theory and models, learning styles, knowledge management practices and performance improvement models.
Experience with multimedia authoring, graphic creation tools and learning management systems.
Effective interpersonal and negotiating skills.
Ability to function independently and as a team member.
Strong project management skills with ability to lead multiple, complex projects with tight time frames in a matrixed environment.
Strong organizational, time management and attention to detail.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Expert in use of Microsoft Products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience with remote training using asynchronous meeting tools such as Zoom Conferencing.

Salary Minimum:
$53,125Salary Maximum:
$84,995This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
