BASIC PURPOSE:

Prepares monthly bank reconciliations for the assigned partnerships and communicates reconciling items with property staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prepares monthly Yardi and excel bank reconciliations for the assigned partnerships. Prepares and posts journal entries for adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation epacks for month end and audit.
  • Communication to properties for NSFs and any outstanding items identified during bank reconciliation process via OSRIR.
  • Prepare write off forms.
  • Responsible for all cash related queries (internal and audited).

Pay for this position is commensurate with experience of candidate.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

  • Associate's degree in Accounting and knowledge of accounting principles and practices required.
  • One year of experience in bank reconciliations is a plus.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English for safety and productivity reasons.
