Position Summary

The Insurance Sales Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process for hiring Producers in the insurance brokerage field. Seeking a remote worker on the west coast, preferably in California with a deep group of connections in that region.


Position Responsibilities

  • Manage recruiting function to identify the best strategies for filling talent needs across multiple business lines requiring producer hires
  • Establish relationships with candidates over transition period
  • Establish and maintain a solid working relationship with hiring managers
  • Source external candidates through various recruitment activities, including cold calling, industry contacts, highly developed networks, and innovative strategies
  • Conduct candidate phone screens and in-depth interviews using behavioral-based questions in accordance with federal and state laws
  • Coordinate onsite interview process with both candidates and interview team
  • Work with hiring teams to ensure all EEOC best practices are executed during hiring processes
  • Gather feedback from interviewers and propose next steps for hiring manager
  • Negotiate offer packages to selected candidates
  • Source/manage internal recruitment process and candidates
  • Maintain agency and vendor relationships as applicable
  • Maintain recruitment activity logs for reporting
  • Assist with all new hire/onboarding activities ensuring the producer transitions smoothly to HR for onboarding



About YouExperience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field
  • 5-7 years of talent acquisition/recruitment experience hiring insurance producers with books of business
  • Experience with Greenhouse ATS and ADP HRIS preferred
  • Advanced user skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Able to effectively interface with internal and external customers
  • Able to handle confidential information with maximum discretion
  • Able to understand business principles and apply them accordingly
  • Able to work independently and on a team within a fast-paced environment
  • Career-focused with intention of continual development in the field of HR
  • Demonstrate good judgment while managing projects, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines with a sense of urgency
  • Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal/presentation skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • High level of accountability and flexibility

  • Experience with multiple recruiting resources including Internet sourcing and recruiting networks
  • Fundamental knowledge of employment related laws and EEO regulations that affect the recruitment and placement processes
  • Must be well versed with interviewing techniques
  • Self-starter, able to work effectively with minimal supervision while maintaining appropriate communication with the HR team and hiring managers
