Overview/Risks:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for sourcing and screening active and passive qualified candidates in accordance with MTF's business needs. The TAS is responsible for supporting and developing relationships with Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure understanding of the business units and roles that they support. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the complete onboarding lifecycle of all external new hires to the organization. This position will collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Partners (TAP), Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP), the Payroll department and/or other functional areas within Human Resources. The TAS is also responsible for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of both personnel and electronic files and data for the Human Resources Department.

 

Monday to Friday 8:15am to 4:30pm. Must be onsite in Edison Mon and Wed

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and identify top talent.

Source and screen active and passive qualified candidates in accordance with MTF's business needs.

Develop effective pre screening questions and review resumes to match needs of the position/organization as needed.

Collaborate with Talent Partner and make recommendations by submitting screened candidates.

Support and develop relationships with Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure understanding of the business units and roles that they support

Coordinate the onboarding process for all external new hires. This includes:Preparing and issuing offer letters and non-compete agreements

Initiate, track, and adjudicate background checks, physicals and drug screenings in accordance to job requirements

Act as a liaison between new hire and Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP)

Add and update new hire information to Employee Activity Report (EAR) and disseminate to required parties via email

Advise all pertinent parties when onboarding process is complete, whether this completion results in new hire being allowed to start or an adverse employment action being taken

Oversee day-to-day vendor relationships and processes for recruiting and onboarding systems.

Provide weekly status updates for all pending new hires to Manager, Talent, TAP, and hiring manager.

Enter new hire information into iCims and transmit to PeopleSoft. Responsible for rehiring former employees directly into PeopleSoft, ensuring that all fields are updated to reflect new position accordingly. Input all employee status changes, pay rate changes, promotions and all other data changes into PeopleSoft and send all pertinent information to payroll for existing employees.

Administer employee referral bonus program.

Verify all invoices relating to recruiting and onboarding.

Prepare attestation letters in response to requests from employees requiring verification of background check and drug screen results.

On a quarterly basis, conduct total headcount audits of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion List to ensure that no MTF Biologics employee is found on the list.

Assist the Human Resources Department with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree required

1 year of talent acquisition experience required

Minimum 1 years of Sourcing/onboarding experience

Minimum 1-years experience required with HRIS (preferably PeopleSoft) or ATS (preferably iCims) Superior organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion

Ability to work in a team and independently
