OVERVIEW
URC is searching for an experienced Project Director for the anticipated USAID INTEGRATE, a large global project. The goal of INTEGRATE is to contribute to sustaining the gains in the HIV response and enabling pandemic preparedness and resilience in the face of other external threats by integrating current health investments for HIV prevention, care, and treatment services into existing country health systems and PHC platforms, in alignment with country priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic leadership and vision in the development and implementation of technical strategies and approaches. Administrative, programmatic, and managerial oversight to all aspects of the project to ensure that all interventions are technically sound and appropriate and executed to meet USAID performance standards. Monitor the implementation of activities, including progress toward achieving stated objectives and benchmarks with high-quality and on-time performance. Ensure technical capacity of staff and provide technical assistance and backstopping when required. Achievement of project goals (meeting or exceeding expected project targets and deliverables on time and within budget) as per project and client(s) approved workplan;, monitoring, evaluation, and learning plan; and gender action plan. Work with regional and country directors to cultivate and maintain effective dialogue and relationships with project client(s), beneficiaries, partner(s), coworkers and other local regional, and international stakeholders. Recruit and supervise staff and short-term technical assistance to meet evolving project demands; provide mentoring and skills building to local staff and key local counterparts. Act as the project's primary representative to USAID. Establish and maintain highly collaborative working relationships with USAID, government counterparts, and all other stakeholders, including key internal and external stakeholders, beneficiaries, subcontractors, and partners. Ensure documentation and dissemination of findings, impact, innovations, and lessons learned. Ensure timely, high-quality, and complete submission of work plans, quarterly and annual reports, M&E reports, financial reports, and any other reports required by USAID. Ensure that all activities are undertaken in full compliance with URC standard operating procedures, USAID policies and regulations, and national policies and laws. Promote sustainability of project activities with effective networking, linkages to other programs, capacity building of project staff, and institutional strengthening of staff.
Additional responsibilities may include:

Attend and represent the organization at various events, seminars, and functions as needed. Travel to developing countries as required, up to [XX]% of the time. Actively support and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA). Business Development: Integrate technical and management knowledge of field programs and clients into all phases of business development. Serve on proposal teams. Seek opportunities to contribute to URC's business development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master's in Public Health, International Development or similar advance degree, required. Senior leadership experience on donor funded projects of similar size and scope. Experience implementing multi-country US Government projects required, USAID project management strongly preferred. At least 15 years' experience designing or implementing donor funded projects focused on HIV response prevention, care, and treatment services, country health systems. PEPFAR experience required. Experience and expertise in the field of countries. Experience in multiple countries and regions preferred. Experience working with host country government agencies, particularly National TB Programs, governments, international organizations and local nongovernmental organizations
