Duties

Responsible for strategic planning and synchronization of the Army . Manage guidelines for work completion. Evaluate the effectiveness of operations and technical competence within organization. Define issues and presents alternatives for resolution of issues to the organization's leadership. Facilitate audit activities to accomplish program goals. Represent the organization's policies in internal and external meetings. Maintain close coordination with Management Decision Package (MDEP) managers and the Training Program Evaluation Group to ensure training strategies are synchronized in the recorded program. Develop program goals and secure approval from leadership. Maintain liaison with Army Commands to promote consensus on solutions to program issues.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting with establishing organizational policies and guidance over training programs; measuring a program by success based on broad objectives and specific guidance from the organization; and implementing guidance for management control mechanisms governing the organization. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Position may be made permanent without further competition. To be eligible for conversion to permanent, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
