Summary

This position is located in FEMA's Office of the Chief Technology Officer. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the analysis, planning, design, implementation, assessment, and management of system's frameworks and will possess a reasonable understanding of Unified Modeling Language.



Duties

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will provide expert-level technical and operational guidance to the agency relating to a variety of IT functions to include data management, systems and equipment analysis, acquisitions, and customer service. Typical assignments include:

  • Utilizing the Enterprise Federal Architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF, FEAF, DODAF) and drive alignment and coherence across methodologies.
  • Establishing governance processes and oversee architecture compliance.
  • Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggest improvements based on assessments.
  • Creating business architecture models reflecting organizational strategies and goals.
  • Evaluating systems engineering, talent recruiting, and accounting models.
