Senior .Net Full Stack Engineer with Azure

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack to join our dynamic team. Desire for a senior or tech lead software engineer. They will be working with our Member Experience team, working on various full stack projects.

Responsibilities / Qualifications

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement software applications

· Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications

· Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

· Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge

· Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications

· Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and performance of the software

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

· Implement security and data protection measures

· Document software development processes and procedures

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Qualifications

· Database:

SQL Server/T-SQL: Proficiency in writing efficient queries and managing databases.

Oracle: Familiarity with Oracle databases.

· Front-End:

Angular 9+: Proficiency in building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.

Typescript 4+: Strong understanding of Typescript and its features.

HTML, CSS, SASS: Solid knowledge of web markup and styling languages.

Karma/Jasmine: Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.

· Back-End:

.NET Framework 4.6+

ASP.NET MVC: Building RESTful APIs and web services.

C#: Strong understanding of C# language features.

MSTest: Writing and executing unit tests.

Moq: Mocking and testing dependencies.

Web API, REST/SOAP services: Building and consuming APIs.

NLogger: Logging and monitoring application behavior.

Version Control and Deployment:

Git (GitHub): Experience with version control and collaborative development.

GitHub Actions: Setting up CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus Skills:

.NET 6+

Entity Framework Core

ASP.NET Core

Azure Kubernetes: Deploying and managing containerized applications.

Elasticsearch: Understanding of search and analytics.

IIS: Configuring and hosting web applications.

· Experience: 8 to 15 yrs

· Required Technical Skills: Angular 9+, .Net Framework 4.6+, C# , Oracle /Sql server, Azure

Location: Chicago, IL USA

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 8/11/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
