The Senior .NET Solutions Engineer is tasked with crafting tailored business solutions utilizing the Microsoft technology suite.

This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing solutions that align with the organization's requirements.

The individual will oversee and coordinate projects from a technological standpoint, adhering to secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and standards that reflect the organization's best practices.

Key responsibilities include driving the design and development of user interfaces, aligning with business objectives, and enhancing overall infrastructure.

The candidate must be capable of interpreting high-level directives, formulating actionable plans, and executing those plans effectively.

Software applications are generally centered around daily business operations supporting various staff functions. Responsibilities may encompass research, evaluation, and recommendations regarding enabling technologies. The role also includes providing production support during off-business hours.

Key tasks include:

  • Analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, and implementing intermediate-level solutions to fulfill business needs and objectives.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to create integrations.
  • Providing advanced support, investigating operational or systematic issues, and resolving them using analytical skills and tools as necessary.
  • Preparing project proposals and developing project plans, with potential leadership of smaller projects.
  • Maintaining awareness of current and future trends in the business industry and associated technologies.
  • Documenting existing procedures in collaboration with user departments.
  • Developing and maintaining application security, design, and documentation in compliance with legal requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 8 years of software development experience, with at least 6 years focused on web-based software development using .NET technologies (C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, Docker, MVC, SQL Server).
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC (versions 4 and above), .NET Core, WCF, RESTful services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5/CSS3, React, responsive design, and Dependency Injection frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ORM tools such as Entity Framework and LINQ.
  • Experience with container-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in continuous integration using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar tools.
  • Experience in cloud development and architecture with Azure.
  • Strong understanding of SOA, TDD, SOLID principles, and systems architecture concepts, with familiarity in agile or iterative development methodologies.
  • Capability in requirement and component-level estimation, as well as database design and development.
  • A strong commitment to staying updated on development best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment while fostering positive working relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adept at multitasking and prioritizing competing demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a legal or global professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating System architecture.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Office System.
  • Ability to engage in all aspects of the application SDLC, including Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and ADO.
  • Participation in daily team scrums and code reviews.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server.
