The Program Manager - Access Point Apprenticeship will partner with the Program Lead to provide oversight and mentorship to a group of fulltime program associates. Access Point provides education, mentorship, and skill development in both technical and leadership areas to high school graduates from traditionally underserved populations.

This position plays a key role in developing early career technologists, talent that is integral for the delivery of current and future health service technologies. In addition, the role is instrumental creating and implementing strategy/improvements to the program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support early career technology associates (apprentices and fulltime employees) through developing and implementing various program initiatives.
  • Identify learning needs and appropriately align program curriculum to address learning and enterprise needs.
  • Provide career coaching, professional skill training, and mentorship to associates through one-on-one and group engagements.
  • Provide support for onboarding new hires. This includes accountability for fulfilling equipment needs, securing desk assignments, confirming system access rights and coordinating with HR Operations to ensure new hires are transitioned to proper manager assignments.
  • Collaborate with leadership development program managers, technical experts, talent acquisition and external partners to create and sustain a high-impact earning development program.
  • Complete other general program management responsibilities as needed, including expense tracking, website updates, rosters and distribution lists, program metrics reporting, etc.
  • Educate stakeholders at all levels of the organization on program requirements and associate performance/development action plans. Be an advocate for the program.
  • Coach managers at all levels of the organization on program requirements and associate performance/development action plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership development programming or human resources required; experience supporting early career technology employees strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • Strong skills in career coaching and development required.
  • Ability to communicate and facilitate across all levels of a large organization with a propensity to lead by example.
  • Prior experience in implementing and managing processes.
  • Experience with reporting and metrics; job incumbent must utilize data to create insights and drive process improvements.
  • Capable of managing competing priorities and navigating through change.
  • Strong time management skills; highly organized and detail oriented.
