Our Casino team is hard at work building a suite of eye-catching casino games for distribution to casino operators in the legal U.S. and international iGaming markets. This team is reimagining what's possible in gaming by focusing on innovative products powered by cutting-edge technology.

We are seeking a JuniorTechnical Artist who is a passionate, creative, gaming enthusiast. This individual should be technically minded to bring new products to life and will interact with the innovation team and other staff members to contribute to the success of the Product line by helping the team deliver quality products. This role is a six-month contract with the opportunity for extension. The target compensation for this position is between $15/hr and $18/hr, and anticipated weekly hours are forty per week. This role is 100% remote and must have available overlap with EST working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Product, Engineering, and Art Teams to bring a game to life
  • Optimizing in-game assets for the best performance possible
  • Editing Photoshop documents
  • Animating/editing animations in Esoteric Spine
  • Scene creation/management in Unity
  • Creating and maintaining asset lists for games
  • Creating and maintaining wireframesLooking for ways to optimize/automate the production pipeline

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Photoshop
  • Knowledge and experience with Unity
  • Knowledge and experience with 2D animation software. Experience with Esoteric's Spine is a plus
  • Must be both Mac and PC proficient
  • Must be detail-oriented and take directions well
  • Experience with C# is a strong plus
  • Experience with GitHub is a plus
  • Experience in working within 3JS is a plus
  • Experience with Jira is a plus
  • Experience with After Effects is a plus
  • 3D Rigging/Animating/Optimizing experience in a program like Maya is a plus
