We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our software delivery processes and prepare our platform for massive scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architectures, automation, and continuous integration and delivery practices. You will play a key role in automating our operations, optimizing our deployment workflows, and ensuring our infrastructure can handle large-scale operations.

The compensation package for this position includes an annual base salary range from $100K-$150K based on experience and location, as well as eligibility for company bonus and equity.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, scale, and maintain our AWS-based infrastructure using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment phases using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and other automation tools.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize code deployment processes in , Java, React, and environments.
  • Enhance system monitoring and alerts using advanced observability and monitoring tools.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance are followed in all DevOps processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DevOps engineers.
  • Provide expertise on system scalability and assist in designing architectures that support growth and performance.
  • Drive initiatives to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality of our development and deployment processes.
  • Mentor junior DevOps team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, etc.).
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Experience with WebRTC or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
