What Our Lead Case Manager Does:
- Review legal documents to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Assist attorneys in case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed.
- Offer recommendations to attorneys on cost-effective ways to achieve client goals.
- Draft legal documents for attorney review.
- Organize and maintain case files and engagement information, electronically or in paper format, in line with firm policies.
- Provide case status updates to clients and outside counsel as requested.
- Collaborate with external vendors, staff, and attorneys to manage the firm's caseload, present case summaries/updates, and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
What We Need From You:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Paralegal in a family law firm.
- Paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in law, business, or a related field (preferred).
- Self-starter capable of effectively managing multiple matters concurrently.
- Essential experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
- Professional experience in case management processes, ideally as a personal injury case manager, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal in a family law firm
Compensation:
$65,000
