Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee all aspects of general accounting activities throughout monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing cycles, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, cost control, and general ledger management.
  • Collaborate with customers and vendors, fostering positive relationships to address any issues promptly and accurately, ensuring timely payments and cash collections.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for both internal management and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of financial results and trends data to identify business risks and develop mitigation strategies, integrating findings into the forecasting process.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls over financial transactions and reporting procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate year-end external audits and all financial and tax compliance activities.
  • Oversee banking and treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and monitoring key working capital metrics like DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and DPO (Days Payable Outstanding).
  • Collaborate with channel leaders and operations teams to enhance demand planning and forecasting processes.
  • Provide executive team and channel leaders with ad hoc analysis, standard reports, and recommendations crucial for strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
  • Partner with the CFO to support the preparation of executive financial reviews, Board presentations, and investor reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA preferred
  • 7-10 years of financial management experience
  • Consumer packaged goods and/or manufacturing industry experience required
  • Operational finance experience (cost & inventory)
  • Candidates need to be comfortable in a start-up environment.
