Our team is looking for a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician, that can perform an array of general building and property maintenance including plumbing, electrical, grounds keeping, mowing, and snow removal. Position Summary

You will be a support to the production chain through maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment. Prioritizing multiple tasks and communicating with the Facilities Manager along the way.

Repairs and maintains physical structures of the manufacturing plant and offices using any hand and power tools. Painting structures and repairing woodwork. Repairs plumbing fixtures. Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, pipes, and electrical systems in the manufacturing plant and offices. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators and related equipment. May operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts. May fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Knowledge & Skills

General knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems is highly preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong knowledge of residential & commercial electricity. Technical training in mechanical or electrical maintenance is preferred

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; secondary education preferred. 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. Valid Driver's license Successful completion of background check
