This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.



Duties
  • Perform network or workstation scans weekly or more often, as required and compile vulnerability reports to facilitate corrections.
  • Resolve simple, informal complaints of employees and refer others, such as formal grievances and appeals, to the supervisor or an appropriate management official.
  • Conduct risk/vulnerability assessments of planned or installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities and threats by evaluating how they impact system capabilities in order to identify protection needs.
  • Implement policy and planning requirements by creating, publishing and executing an Information Security Program in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Lead Information Assurance Team (IAST) ensuring work is carried out by coordination of duties and responsibilities.
