Join our collaborative teams at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Department of Neurosciences with our highly specialized Neuro ICU Bridge Program Have the opportunity to start your training on one of our two acute care units with a pathway to get to the NCCU. The Department of Neurosciences cares for patients with a variety of neurosurgery and neurology medical/surgical diagnoses. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are a valued member of our team and will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care to patients undergoing a diverse range of procedures and surgeries including craniotomies, shunts, spinal fusions, aneurysm clippings/coiling's, and more Johns Hopkins Department of Neurosciences is at the forefront of groundbreaking treatments and our RNs care for a broad spectrum of patients with neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, myasthenia gravis, MS, Guillain-Barre syndrome, ALS, seizures, etc. Our nurses work closely with a diverse multidisciplinary team including MDs, Physician Assistants, Surgeons, PT/OT/SLP, Social Work, and other specialties. Our unit promises a unique blend of experiences, enriched by the support and camaraderie of a dedicated team.

- Zayed 12 East: 26-bed Acute Care + 6-bed designated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
- Zayed 12 West: 14-bed Acute Care + 12-bed Brain Rescue Unit (Acute Stroke Unit) + 6-bed Neurosurgical IMC

Who Should Apply:
- Associate degree in Nursing required

All New Grad RNs are automatically enrolled in our Nurse Residency Program ranked #3 in the nation
Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
