**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a new graduate registered nurse to join our team on the Short Stay Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate nurse to gain experience in a fast-paced environment and advance their telemetry skills.
**Unit Highlights:**
* The Short Stay/Observation Unit provides skilled nursing care for acutely ill patients placed in observation status, and acutely ill patients admitted with various diseases such as arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, Congestive Heart Failure, and pacemakers, as well as other medical surgical conditions.
* The unit consists of 32 beds and has an average patient stay of 24-48 hours.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
* Identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyze trends and changes in patient status and plan appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.
