Accounting Clerk

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for carrying out administrative functions to support our accounting team. The position will directly assists with the accounting department's administration and day-to-day operations. This will be an office based postion.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • 1 year accounting experience for a construction company or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Payroll Manager with employee expense reports, vehicle allowance, health insurance database
  • Other payroll-related responsibilities as needed.
  • Assist the accounting department with various tasks as needed
  • Working with Subcontractors to obtain W-9, certificates of insurance and entering accounts payable invoices and related information into accounting software.
