Burke Mountain Academy (BMA), a co-ed elite ski academy located in East Burke, VT, is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant for the school year.

BMA is a fun, dynamic, team-oriented working environment for approximately 35 staff who support 70 dedicated student-athletes and an engaged alumni base. The Executive Assistant is an important role that supports the Head of School and facilitates several critical functions of the school. The school values self-motivated, collaborative, can-do individuals who are excited to work closely with peers and who welcome the opportunity to be an active and positive role model for the BMA students.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator willing to engage in email, text, and phone conversations with students, staff, and current families. The role requires proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite, and a willingness to learn database information management. The Executive Assistant works with the academic and athletic department to collect and disseminate scheduling information. Acting as Registrar for a small school, attention to detail in organization and digital filing is also required. The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent people skills as the role requires collaboration with the Advancement Department in a variety of areas, including school events.

Responsibilities Responsibilities

Office Management Responsibilities - Mailroom organization, office supplies, school store, and vendor management. Student Travel - Travel day schedule coordination. Registrar Duties - Student record-keeping, emailing of all student evaluations, transcript creation, state enrollment reporting. School Schedule - Organization and communication of school schedules. Google Suite Management - Organization of Google Drive email management. Event Coordination - Working closely with the Advancement Office for school events. Database Management - Staff/Student Directories, updated contact information. Staff Support - Staff meeting notes, periodic meeting planning support.
