When outdoor telecom equipment gets built up with dirt, debris, and contaminants it can affect the efficiency of the network. At Kuehne+Nagel in Lewisville, Texas, we help our customers keep networks up and running by properly cleaning telecom equipment from the field so it can be put back into service. If you'd like to be part of this important area, consider joining us as a Warehouse Associate. Your Role In this role, you will be handling outdoor field telecommunications products sent to the site for cleaning and preparing them for re-distribution. Most items are excessively soiled and require deep cleaning wearing protective gear in a dedicated cleaning room. Due to the size and weight of some items, you must lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day. Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with weekly pay at $19.00 per hour. Your Responsibilities
  • Responsibilities may include receiving, checking, palletizing, shrink wrapping, and storing
  • Verify and receive materials into inventory
  • Mark and inventory packages for storage or transit
  • Work from pick sheet to pull product or supplies
  • Check orders against pull sheets
  • Use material handling equipment to unload incoming materials from trailers
  • Work overtime and weekends
  • Other responsibilities as needed
Your Skills and Experiences
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment
  • Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate-controlled environment
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
