Our ideal candidate will have a strong work history in accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts. They will be familiar with all accounting procedures and have a general aptitude for numbers. The successful applicant will ensure that our daily accounting functions consistently run accurately and effectively.
We offer competitive compensation and a benefits package, including health insurance, dental, and vision coverage. Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm.
Clerk Duties and Responsibilities- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Prepare and maintain accurate accounting documents and records.
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Enter key data for financial transactions into the database accurately.
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
- Research, track, and reconcile accounting and documentation issues and discrepancies.
- Compile reports and summaries on assigned activity areas.
- Ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Stay up-to-date with job knowledge and best practices.
- High school degree.
- Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Proven work experience in the accounting field, preferably as an accounts receivable clerk or accounts payable clerk.
- Solid working knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant database and accounting software.
- Significant experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
- Aptitude for numbers.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping duties.
- Solid data entry and word processing skills.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
