Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate employee work assignments to meet service requirements and achieve productivity goals.
  • Direct the achievement of performance objectives related to quality, service, and safety.
  • Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates, and related metrics, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure procedures are observed, implemented, and enforced, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement training certification programs to ensure warehouse employees receive necessary training.
  • Process returned merchandise and establish performance standards for warehouse functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent required.
  • Fork Lift Certification preferred.
  • 2+ years warehouse and distribution operations experience.
  • 1 year experience leading warehouse associates.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and electrical, construction, or mechanical products.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and use business planning systems and work in a team environment.

Physical Expectations:

  • Work is physically strenuous, requiring lifting heavy packages up to 50 pounds.
  • Excessive bending or stooping may be required.
  • Climbing ladders and using hand tools are also necessary.
