Job Description:
As a Data Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to curate and organize data for a program advancing state-of-the-art modeling and prediction capabilities. The aim of this program is to understand object detection robustness. This requires careful curation of data as well as development and curation of synthetic data. Additionally, you will contribute to the programs source code, implementing data curation and data science techniques.

Responsibilities:

The Data Engineer will be responsible for the following:
Develop, train and evaluate Machine Learning models
Develop strategies for data augmentation and synthetic data
Utilize models to detect and classify targets within imagery
Develop methods to identify classifier model vulnerabilities
Develop scenario-based synthetics datasets
Utilize LLM tools to synthesize new scenarios and data
Basic Qualifications:
TS/SCI clearance required
5+ years of related experience
Experience leading technical teams
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow or MXNet
Prior experience with the Intelligence Community and methodological experience in some of the following areas
Relationships and discovery (correlating, enriching, and prioritizing target data)
Situational awareness (unifying data into a single context, allowing the current situation to be accurately and quickly understood)
Systems modeling (building a computational analog of real-world-system to understand how it operates, what it is capable of, and how it can be fooled)
Experience dealing with scenario & time-series data
Experience or desire to learn Large Language Model (LLM) techniques & develop AI Software Agent automation
Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar data strongly preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods setting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
