Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ETL processes to transform data from multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain databases and data delivery systems
  • Transform data into insights, analysis, and reporting
  • Maintain responsibility for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of ETL workflows and scripts
  • Work with structured and unstructured data, ETL, data wrangling, data ingest, and data access
  • Leverage knowledge of data modeling, ETL, SQL scripting, and analytical expertise
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in stream processing pipelines with Apache NiFi
  • 1+ year of experience with JSON and parsing
  • Experience building and maintaining data flows in NiFi
  • Experience with ETL development and processes, including creating high-level ETL plans consisting of Source to Target mappings
  • Experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting complex operational data flows
  • Experience using Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
  • Experience with data flow processes and tools
  • Experience with SQL, including writing complex SQL scripts, Oracle, and Server
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in CS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data security and compliance procedures and policies
  • Experience with Data Marts and Data Warehouses
  • Experience with Dimensional Modeling and Relational Databases
  • Experience with Data Modeling concepts
  • Experience with Java, Python, Perl, or Bash
  • Experience with Source code management and integration
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including JIRA or Confluence or GitHub
  • Knowledge of overall IC agency processes and policies
  • Ability to design ETL processes, including keeping business rules in mind for data quality purposes
  • Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision
