Job Description

We are in search of a Lead Data Engineer to join our growing team of data management and analytics experts. As the Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data architecture and analytics delivery. Our teams primary responsibility is to make high quality data pipelines available, accessible, and secure to stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing, optimizing, and monitoring data retrieval, infrastructure, storage, and distribution throughout DPEP Tech & Digital, to enable data-driven decision-making. This is a highly collaborative role where partnership and collaboration with many technical and non-technical teams is critical.

Primary Job Duties: ETL Development, Dashboard / Report Development, Quality Assurance

Skills and Requirements

Top Skills: SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake

Bachelors degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Proven experience in data engineering with a strong understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration.

Strong SQL skills and experience. Ability to perform efficient querying including use of subqueries, Indexes, views, stored procedures, and functions.

In-depth understanding of modern database and data technologies, including but not limited to data architecture, data modeling and database management.

Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Extensive experience with data management and data visualization tools: Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Snowflake etc.

Practical experience using agile methodologies. null
