The selected candidate will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Perform essential work measurement, cost optimization, process and product flow assessments, and capacity utilization evaluations. Collaborate with the team to implement changes based on targeted outcomes.
- Oversee program layout planning and execution, including management of capital projects.
- Assist the Performance Management Team (PMT) with fundamental performance metric evaluations, identification of productivity enhancements, cost assessments, and implementation of solutions.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred. The individual will be expected to apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to foster continuous improvements across various programs.
- The candidate must possess a customer-centric approach with strong verbal and written communication abilities. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and effective collaboration with teams and management at all levels are essential.
- A self-motivated individual with a proven track record of setting and achieving personal goals is required.
- Familiarity with Capacity Requirements Planning activities is necessary.
- Provide analytical support in identifying and utilizing relevant data for evaluating production operations.
- Support the Industrial Engineering team in sourcing and leveraging appropriate data for production operations analysis.
- Serve as the primary contact within the Industrial Engineering team for data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) and production floor dashboards.
- Maintain and develop processes for updating data related to Industrial Engineering-owned datasets.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, including data manipulation, preparation, reporting, and visualization to support business operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and VBA.
- Experience in SQL programming.
- Familiarity with database systems such as SAP HANA, MS SQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Proven ability to apply technical solutions to business challenges.
- Creative problem-solving skills utilizing technology.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in creating complex analytical products and reporting from raw data to final visualizations.
- Adept at discovering and understanding connections in data through independent exploration.
- Experience with SAP data and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) functionalities.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python.
