Responsibilities
Weatherford is looking for a Senior Consolidations Accountant to support the Consolidations function. This person will perform at an advanced level any combination of Financial Accounting duties: Review monthly reconciliations for the Balance Sheet Accounts, Perform monthly processes in JDE / Hyperion HFM necessary to ensure timely and accurate reporting, Prepare Internal / External Audit Reports as requested,Perform month end close JDE /Hyperion HFM, Report financial information within the system; as needed, Develop and maintain the JDE / Hyperion HFM reports, Review for the integrity and accuracy of monthly reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for monthly analysis and ad hoc reviews of the consolidated financialsResponsible for monthly analysis of Corporate and support costs, including building relationships with global management Identify and recommend process improvements and simplification.Audit coordination with external auditorsAssist with balance sheet reconciliation reviewsWrite and/or update SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) as needed.Record consolidation entriesLeasing Contract Review, lease classification tests, creation, and maintenance of leases in Visual Lease
Qualifications
Experience and Education:
REQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance3-5 years Accounting Experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excel, Word, SharePointSelf-MotivatedExcellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skillsProven organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of GAAPStrong understanding of debits and creditsAbility to understand complex scenarios
Preferred:
Public-company experience and/or Big 4 audit experiencePowerBI, Advanced ExcelJDE, Hyperion (HFM, Smartview, Essbase)Visual Lease Software for lease accountingFamiliarity with multi-currency, international environmentFamiliarity with multiple ledger entitiesKnowledge of JD Edwards/SAP. CPA or other accounting certification.Energy Services experience.
