Position Overview:

The Ladders is on the lookout for a full-time, detail-oriented Consolidation Accounting Supervisor to enhance our finance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the consolidation accounting operations, ensuring precision and adherence to applicable regulations. This position will involve leading a team of accountants, generating financial reports, and offering strategic financial insights to upper management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute the consolidation accounting process, including the collection, review, and reconciliation of financial data from various entities.
  • Prepare and validate consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Manage the reconciliation and elimination of intercompany transactions to prevent duplication and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Conduct financial analyses to identify trends and anomalies, providing insights and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies, staying updated with changes in regulations.
  • Mentor junior accountants by reviewing their adjusting entries and trend reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available.
  • Utilize financial consolidation software to enhance the efficiency of the consolidation process.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including executives and finance teams, to address inquiries and explain financial results.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the consolidation process, identifying opportunities for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or accounting within a large, multi-location organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with at least 2 years of experience in team management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Familiarity with financial software such as NetSuite and Concur.
  • Experience in multi-site operations.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Certified Public Accountant status is highly desirable.
