Summary:

The Arizona Cardinals are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Football Technology Coordinator with technical customer service experience. This position will be part of a dynamic and multifunctional technical team that supports Arizona Cardinals football staff at the Dignity Health Training Facility (Tempe, AZ) and support live events at State Farm Stadium (Glendale, AZ).

This position is part of the Information Technology department and will support all football equipment and employees working at the Tempe locations, State Farm Stadium, and other locations as required. The main responsibilities for this position include technical support and troubleshooting for staff and related computing technologies and systems.

This position will support day to day IT football enterprise systems in addition to live events (Cardinal's football games, concerts, activities, and events) at all sites. This role will be involved with many aspects of systems used by all staff and others if needed, potentially requiring 7 days a week and night schedules. Other responsibilities include event support, game day duties at games, training camp and extended trips.

Primary Job Duties:

The Coordinator, Football Technology will have daily responsibilities including, without limitation, to the following:

  • Serve as a point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests from internal users including Coaches, Scouts, and all Football operations staff.
  • Provide customer service and technical support to Arizona Cardinals team, administrative staff, and executive staff.
  • Respond to support tickets and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all issues are resolved to the best of the user.
  • Run point on IT office asset management, hardware support, and shipping.
  • Support all new hire on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
  • Administer and support football systems and applications including but not limited to: XOS, Audio/Video conference/meeting rooms, Azure AD, Office 365, G Suite, Adobe, AWS, Active Directory, MDM, Intune.
  • Ability to learn new software and solutions quickly.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Proactively monitor and secure the Arizona Cardinals football computing devices.
  • Support team practices, games (home/away), and after-hours facility team IT support.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and manage technical IT-related projects.
  • Performs problem isolation and resolution of video technology issues.
  • Support live events throughout the year which will include domestic and/or global travel.
  • On-Call rotation to support our games as well as the 24/7 security operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of relevant service desk experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment; handle multiple tasks with the ability to reprioritize and shift priorities quickly with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience with servers, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Intune/autopilot experience preferred.
  • Experience with scripting, programming, and automation tools.
  • Experience with configuring Mac devices. Prior MDM experience preferred.
  • Experience with administering endpoint security solutions e.g. anti-virus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.
  • Ability to create documentation, change management protocols, generate reports, and present them to leadership.
  • Strong troubleshooting techniques to quickly diagnose and resolve computing issues.
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to stay focused, on-task and professional while being around professional athletes and personal.
  • Must be confidential and act with 100% integrity for respect of the game when viewing playbooks and hearing strategic details of gameplans.
  • Must be confidential and act with 100% integrity for respect of the game when troubleshooting and viewing players medical records when working with trainers and in training room area (includes HIPPA laws).
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required.
  • This position may require the individual to have access to confidential records and information. To successfully perform this position, confidentiality of the information with which the individual has contact must be maintained.
  • Frequent bending, lifting 50 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
  • Must complete all pre-employment forms and successfully pass a background check.
