Perform inhalation treatments, fingerstick glucose, urine dipsticks, visual acuity, phlebotomy, dressing changes, and surgical instrument cleaning and packaging after use.

Review laboratory results and bring abnormal results to attention of physician.

Coordinate and facilitate care coordination and communicate relevant information according to the medical plan of care and nursing assessment.

Take all vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight, measurement of head circumference, and length); perform a behavioral health screening.

Administer IV, oral, nasal, rectal, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications and vaccinations.

Document and transcribe information on SF 601, PSH 731, AHLTA, service-specific immunization tracking systems (MEDPROS, AFCITA, SAMS, etc), DoD and Service Specific readiness tracking systems.

Participate in and may coordinate performance improvement activities.
