Responsibilities

● Inventory of current IT assets and handling (asset tagging, data entry) for future inventory

● Shipping/receiving/tracking of physical inventory

● Tracking/planning/execution for on/offboarding procedures

● Tracking of software/licensing agreements, renewals, and purchasing collaboratively with AP team

● Develop metrics/dashboard for hardware software utilization (distribution and age of systems)

● Recommendations for asset management system

● Prepare and manage IT asset capital and expense budgets

● Establish and maintain hardware standards (ie collaborate with other teams to make sure standardization occurs)

● Work with security for asset compliance

● Make recommendations to the team for new hardware evaluations and proof of concept trials

● Evaluation for hardware end-of-life and arrangement for e-waste collection

● Familiarity with CDW procurement process and ability to verify pricing vs other vendors

Requirements

● At least 4 years of experience in an IT Asset Management position (adhering to ITAM best practices and the ability to define process and procedure)

● Responsible for IT lifecycle management - ordering and inventory management for a small to mid-sized company

● Prior experience with evaluation for hardware end-of-life and arrangement for quarterly e-waste collection

● Excellent verbal and written communication

● Experience collaborating with internal teams (IT, legal, accounting, finance, and other departments)

● Experience with International shipping and logistics including customs documents (UPS, FedEx).

Preferred

● Experience in Workday Financials (or similar PO system)

● Mac, Lenovo, and other end user hardware research and buying experience

● Light IT support (hardware and software) experience not required, but would be helpful
